A cat's teeth, jaws and short digestive tract have evolved to process proteins from meat and fish and Purizon cat food with a high proportion of animal ingredients (70%), is rich in vital protein . Proteins not only contain vitamins and minerals, it also contain amino acids, which are essential for cats. All Purizon recipes are grain-free and made with 30% fruit & vegetables, a natural source of important vitamins and fibre. It contains a selection of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, blueberries or pomegranate and pumpkin, spinach or carrots.
